CutisCare provides management services to wound care and hyperbaric medicine service lines in hospitals nationwide.
As a Referral Coordinator you will be joining a team of compassionate wound care specialists in positively impacting the patients' quality of life throughout their healing journey.
This is a full time position with medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) match, and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
Insurance verification and eligibility Process and track all incoming referrals, faxed or electronic; ensuring accuracy and completeness Registering and scheduling patients, per hospital policies Obtains authorization for wound and/or hyperbaric services ordered internally Coordinates outgoing referrals and insurance authorizations for ordered services; DME, home health, vascular, nutrition, imaging, infusion, etc.
Ensures clinical records support medical necessity and insurance guidelines for ordered services and/or procedures Assists hospital billing department with claim denials and appeals, as needed Professionally and efficiently communicates with all parties involved - colleagues, referring/ordering providers, patients, etc.
Provide administrative support in front office; answer phones, check-in/out patients Requirements:
High school or equivalent Healthcare experience BLS certification Insurance verifications and eligibility Referrals, insurance authorizations and pre-certifications Medical Assistant (preferred) Medical coding (preferred).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
