The painting instructor will work with our residents to provide painting sessions every Saturday from 10:
30am to 12:
00pm.
Responsibilities:
Plan and prepare engaging and therapeutic painting activities suitable for individuals at different painting levels.
Conduct painting sessions in a supportive and encouraging manner, fostering a safe and non-judgmental environment for residents.
Provide guidance and instruction on various painting techniques, styles, and mediums.
Encourage residents to express themselves creatively through art while promoting relaxation, stress relief, and emotional healing.
Adapt painting activities to accommodate residents with varying skill levels and emotional needs.
Maintain a clean and organized painting area.
Monitor residents' progress and participation during painting sessions, providing feedback and encouragement as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in working with residents and their personal artwork.
This position is a contracted position and will require availability every Saturday from 10:
30am to 12:
00pm.
Compensation is a flat rate plus a per participant fee.
