We are seeking a highly organized , friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.
As the first point of contact for Soul of Yoga, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all of our clients.
This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding sales and customer service in the manner of a yoga studio concierge.
- Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary.
- Reccomend classes based on the needs and experience levels of the students.
- Troubleshoot booking issues in person, or via phone or email.
- Provide information to callers and visitors, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
- Accurately checks in classes, rings up retail purchases, workshops, packages and gift certificates.
- Actively works to sell memberships and to convert both new and regular students into members.
- Maintain a clean and organized studio through regular tasks and chores including keeping the retail area straightened and stocked at all times, lounge/reception area tidy and studios clean, well stocked and organized.
- Assists and completes projects as directed by Assistant Manager and Assistant Director.
- Perform and troubleshoot duties related to in studio live streaming of classes.
- Willing to work in varying shifts and extended studio hours.
- Provide information to callers and visitors, ensuring accurate and timely responses - Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
Experience:
- Proven experience in an administrative or receptionist role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment - Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks We offer competitive compensaton and a supportive work environment.
