Procurement Agent at N/A San Diego, CA 92024

Sources products and materials for one or more projects in a division.
Qualifies and evaluates for vendors of materials, subcontractors, and service providers for recommendation to the Procurement Manager.
Communicates and enforces procurement policies and procedures to the district and project teams.
Collects and maintains procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables.
Maintains the records of goods ordered and received; supports Accounts Payable reconciliation.
Helps in the creation and negotiation of contracts under the supervision and guidance of a procurement manager.
Maintains knowledge of Company's values and strategic plan.
Support published corporate policies.
Set's up and monitors purchasing buyout.
Perform additional assignments per management's direction.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Construction Management preferred.

year related construction experience preferred.
Introductory knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) with general knowledge of database utilization.
JD Edwards E1 World experience is a plus.
Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accuratelyAble to identify, track and communicate project plan steps and actions.
Team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives.
Contract negotiation and/or subcontract management and legal terminology.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
