We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Service Technician to join our team here in MPEx team located in Poway, CA.
The facility operates on a 9/80 scheduled.
DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Conduct depot level repair, integration and testing, modification and operation of complex synthetic aperture radar (SAR) / ground moving target indicator (GMTI) and other airborne sensors.
Operate specialized test equipment in the performance of troubleshooting and maintaining sensors, both in the laboratory and in the field.
Performs and/or assists in fabrication, modification, assembly, installation, operation, repair and maintenance of complex laboratory, experimental and commercial equipment.
May assist in the design of basic lab, experimental, and commercial equipment.
Applies specialized knowledge and skills pertinent to the organization, project or program assigned.
Will utilize SAP processes to track defective componentsJob
Qualifications:
Typically requires associate's degree or equivalent with seven or more years of experience.
May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
Training and/or experience from the military or a trade school highly desirable.
Must have ACTIVE Secret DoD Security Clearance.
Previous Radar/RF experience and the ability to operate common and specialized test equipment in the performance of Depot level repairs is required.
Must be highly proficient in computer applications and network interface applications as well as have the ability to understand schematics/block diagrams.
Must have analytical ability to read and understand detailed instructions, drawings and specifications.
Must have strong communication skills necessary to write and record precise information.
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Previous experience with Military avionics/electronics experience highly preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
